82 Million US Phones, One Software Update, 6X the Reach | Vibhu Norby from the Solana Founation

Video

A software update is about to put Solana on 82 million American phones. Vibhu explains the @Samsung deal:

"We just announced that Samsung is going to be shipping an update to their Wallet app pretty soon. And Samsung Wallet is installed on every single device that they ship to support stable coins on Solana.

So you'll be able to send money from your Samsung Wallet instantly anywhere in the world. And we're starting with the U.S.

So there's 82 million Samsung phones in the U.S. alone that are going to have access to Solana for the first time...

To give you a little bit of context for how big this is, right now, Solana is the most used network for stable coin transfers. And yet we only have 14 million holders of stable coins on the network.

So this immediately basically 6x's the number of total wallets that will have access to stable coins."
