Three Rival Models, One Network That Connects Them All | Nick Ducoff from the Solana Foundation
Solana's Nick Ducoff breaks down the three ways stocks are moving onchain, and why Solana already has 90%+ of the market:
"So there's three models emerging for tokenized equities.
There's the wrapper model, which is what @ondofinance is doing and Kraken with xStocks.
You've got the transfer agent model. This is what Superstate is doing, as well as @EquinitiGroup, which is, as you mentioned, being acquired by Bullish in a $4.2 billion all-stock deal...
And then the third is the entitlements model, which DTCC is leading the effort around.
I think it might actually be all of the above and in different venues for different assets...
And so to win the market, I think you have to be a platform that has got connectivity to all of the different models, has interoperability with both the trad institutions, as well as the native on-chain ecosystems, the AMMs, the front ends, things of this nature.
And I think that's where Solana is very well positioned and why to date, as you mentioned, we've got something like 90% plus of the market."
