"We would not refuse the upgrade. That would be destructive on a whole other level," BUT ether.fi would likely exit liquid staking altogether, @MikeSilagadze said.

Which is why Mike says EIP-8363 would kill small LSTs: All that ETH "would probably get shunted to Lido."
