UNICEF on-chain, from pilots to institutional adoption

Video

So far our talks at ETH events have centered around the UNICEF Cryptofund. This time, we will go beyond and showcase our work in the cutting edge. This will be a distillation of the work presented in https://www.unicefventurefund.org/story/tech-outlook-2026-blockchain-building-blocks-scalable-impact

The idea is to connect the fundamental benefits of blockchains (decentralization, censorship resistance etc.) to real world usecases for social good.

We will talk about learnings from first pilots in connecting stablecoins with mobile money - https://www.unicefventurefund.org/story/insights-stablecoin-based-end-end-cash-transfer-platform-test. We will talk about our learnings from our ongoing experiment in radical transparency - https://www.unicef.org/innovation/stories/transparent-efficient-progress-tracking-blockchain etc.

The world needs more truth, not more data.

Speakers: Arun Maharajan
