Solana Founder on Tokenized Stocks
Solana Founder Anatoly Yakovenko on using tokenized stocks to wire crypto straight into Wall Street:
"Seeing licensed brokers like Backpack being able to do literal brokerage-to-brokerage transfer into Backpack and mint a stock on Solana or buy a stock on Solana, transfer it into Backpack, then transfer it to your E-Trade account or interact with brokers.
So this is one hot, fully connected network to the real traditional financial system. That's been awesome to see.
What I want to see now is having some composability between these where another brokerage says, okay, fine, you can do this. We're tired of leaking stocks being transferred into Backpack. We're also just going to accept these. And now you have effectively network effects start growing from there.
So that's my goal, finding those partners and trying to convince them, let's agree on all brokerages, agree on a single layer or at least a single mint and burn API, and we can grow much, much faster through composability."
