v1.8.6 is a patch release on top of v1.8.5 that picks up dependency security fixes.

Security

• Update rustls to 0.23.46, fixing RUSTSEC-2026-0346, RUSTSEC-2026-0347, RUSTSEC-2026-0348 and RUSTSEC-2026-0349.

• Update zip to 9.0.4 via svm-rs 0.5.30 and Soldeer 0.12.1, fixing RUSTSEC-2026-0367, RUSTSEC-2026-0368 and RUSTSEC-2026-0369.

Dependencies

• Update rustls-webpki to 0.103.16 and webpki-roots / webpki-root-certs to 1.0.10.
